I decided I would go back and redo a few older art pieces that weren’t quite up to my snuff again. When I originally designed these, I guess I drew them too small to have high quality prints – hey, don’t blame me, I was new to playing with the iPad!
Now that I have a better handle on drawing at higher resolution, I went back and remade them – each one wound up having to be it’s own file due to the size restrictions on files in Procreate, that’s how big I did them. I think one of the images, when compiled in Photoshop, came out to being something like 26,000px wide? Yeah, I don’t expect an iPad to handle that – my gaming laptop barely did, even after flattening all of the layers!
This is one of those ideas I’ve had for a while now, since I really love moon phase illustrations, and they just seemed so perfect for Sailor Moon without it being so “in your face!” Sailor Moon. Also, kitties!
