Just like my previous post, this one was inspired by the prompt “Pets on Vacation.” And of course, I had to draw cats. Because I have them, and love them.
These are done in a kind of gauche style, where the paint strokes are visible and more free-flowing. I am trying this new technique, and enjoy it, even if it is hard not to go in and make it pixel perfect – let the happy accidents roll was my thought with this. So here are a bunch of cats, with rocket backpacks, enjoying their time in space.

I wonder if cats would actually like the feeling of free-fall, or if it would make them try to right themselves constantly…
